Window well Grates can vary by size and shape. We recommend having a tech come out and measure each grate for proper installation. However, to make installation and quoting pricing easier we have provided this guide to make measuring and understanding pricing easy. All measurements are from the inside of the window well.

Types of Window grates vary in shape such as

  • Short Half loop Grates-These measure from 15″-18″ from front to back and 30″-40″ Maximum for width
  • Medium Loop Grate- These grates measure from 15″-18″ from front to back inside and 36″-52″ inches in width.
  • Large Loop Grate-These grates measure from 22″-25″ From front to back inside and 45″-60″ inches in width
  • XL Long Loop Grate-These grates measure from 22″-25″ from front to back inside and 60″-66″ in width.
  • XXL Long Loop Grate- These grates measure from 30″-33″ from front to back inside and 45″-60″ in width.
  • We carry and can customize any size grate needed for the application of your window well including custom paint application, safety latches, and hatches that can have ladders applied to them.
